More than 85% of all lung cancers are caused by smoking but it’s never too late to reap the benefits of quitting. Cigars, smokeless tobacco products and e-cigarettes are not safe alternatives to smoking and even regular exposure to secondhand smoke increases your risk of developing lung cancer and raises your risk for other diseases.
